The Laboratory Short Path Distillation System is designed for the separation and purification of heat-sensitive compounds under high vacuum conditions. In short path molecular distillation, the mean free path of vapor molecules is greater than the distance between the evaporation surface and the condenser, allowing vapor to travel directly to the condenser with minimal resistance.

Because the vapor path is extremely short, the material experiences very short residence time at elevated temperatures, which significantly reduces thermal decomposition. This makes the system ideal for processing thermally sensitive, high-boiling, or high-viscosity materials.

The system is commonly used in chemical laboratories, pharmaceutical research, natural product extraction, and cannabinoid purification. It is particularly suitable for distillation, purification, and solvent removal processes where high vacuum and precise temperature control are required.

The equipment includes a heating mantle with magnetic stirring, short path distillation head, receiving flasks, condenser components, and laboratory support hardware, providing a complete laboratory distillation setup.
