Key Performance Features

Healthcare-sector performance.

Acoustic, fire, humidity, hygiene, cleanroom, thermal and environmental properties from the medical-grade technical data.

01 Economical and practical

Regarding hygiene and particulate emission levels, it complies with the relevant requirements for healthcare facilities such as administrative offices and waiting rooms.

02 MRSA & ISO 5

Does not foster the proliferation of Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and features low particulate emission levels meeting the ISO 5 cleanroom standard.

03 Acoustic & fire performance

Offers high sound absorption performance along with optimal fire resistance meeting the EU Class A1 standard for non-combustible materials.

04 Standard suspension systems

Available in standard panel dimensions and compatible with both semi-exposed and fully exposed suspension grid systems.

03
Acoustic Performance

Weighted sound absorption coefficient (αw)

A single-number rating calculated from measured sound absorption coefficients at standard frequencies.

αw Range 0.00 < αw < 1.00

αw ranges from 0.00 (poor) to 1.00 (perfect).

Calculated in accordance with ISO 11654 using the sound absorption coefficient αp values at standard frequencies.

The measured values are compared with a reference curve to determine the weighted sound absorption coefficient.

04
Noise Reduction Coefficient

Noise reduction coefficient (NRC)

Calculated in accordance with ASTM C423. NRC is the mathematical average of the measured sound absorption coefficients at 250, 500, 1000 and 2000 Hz.
